JOB POSITION: ASSISTANT PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Schedule all work forces and equipment (i.e. within the company, need to hire or rent, skill level needed, etc.). Work with the Project Superintendent to establish the estimated job budget.
  • Evaluate job needs; tools, equipment, man power, etc. and review with Project Superintendent.
  • Forecast potential conflicts prior to the project being effected
  • Supervise one or multiple crews throughout the course of construction. Observe workmanship subcontractors and advise of corrections required for conformance.
  • Review and verify that all work is in conformance with the contract documents.
  • Review contract documents and company policies with subcontractor prior to work beginning
  • Schedule all major material deliveries with Project Superintendent. Inventory material upon jobsite delivery and verify conformance with approved shop drawings. Verify and collect all delivery tickets.
  • Maintain verify As-Built data for all phases of work.
  • Schedule all lab testing and permit inspections as directed by the Project Superintendent.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work place. Also enforce all safety procedures on job site. As outlined in the company’s Accident Prevention Policy.
  • Verify layout before installation. Provide oversight and direction for installation of major and minor equipment, piping, instruments, etc. for a complete working system.
JOB POSITION: SUPERINTENDENT

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Construction Superintendent for the Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction. Candidate will be in charge of the total construction project including the supervision of subcontractors and vendors. Must have experience related to water and wastewater treatment plant construction.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete projects on time and within budget once project schedule has been established
  • Evaluate job needs; tools, equipment, man power, etc. and review with Project Manger
  • Forecast potential conflicts prior to the project being affected
  • Review contract documents and company policies with subcontractor prior to work beginning
  • Coordinate all work with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Schedule delivery of all major equipment with suppliers
  • Inventory jobsite deliveries prior to accepting
  • Track all returns and submit proper paper work
  • Execute daily logs
  • Conduct jobsite safety meetings according to company policy
  • Update project as-builts as needed (minimum monthly)
  • Coordinate with Project Manager on job progress, schedule changes, conflicts, RFI’s
  • Execute minor field changes as directed on the appropriate forms
  • Execute Tool Request forms and obtain approval prior to major purchases
  • Make all miscellaneous purchases not covered under a purchase order
