Scope: |
The Port St. John Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements project for Brevard County consisted of the rehabilitation of the ring steel treatment unit at the Port St. John Wastewater Treatment Plant, including replacement of the clarifier drive, aeration piping/air diffusers components, return sludge air lift pump, effluent weir plates, sludge removal and protective coating system on the tank. To provide wastewater treatment while the ring steel unit was being rehabilitated, the project also includes the conversion of the existing concrete secondary digester tank into a standby aeration basin with sludge holding, concrete rehabilitation of the existing secondary digester tank, installation of a ring steel clarifier, installation of a return and waste sludge pump station, and installation of an effluent transfer pump station and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. |
