Scope: |
The George T. Lohmeyer (GTL) Emergency Generator Connection and Electrical Switchgear Upgrades project for the City of Fort Lauderdale consisted of the replacement of the existing 4160 volt switchgear No. 1, existing unit substation No. 1 & No. 2, existing 480 volt motor control center No. 1 & No. 1 extension, existing 4160 volt main air compressor “C”, and associated structural, architectural, and air conditioning in accordance with the Contract Documents including but not limited to providing labor, material, and equipment to protect, remove, replace, test, dispose, restore disturbed areas including asphalt, asphalt markings, concrete sidewalks, gravel hardscape, and sod. The work also included the demolition and construction of electrical equipment, conduit, wire, supports, lighting and appurtenances, including underground conduit, structure and cable installations; demolition and construction of HVAC equipment and appurtenances; and demolition and construction of architectural and structural components and appurtenances. |
