Scope: |
The Lake Worth Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump Improvements project for teh City of Lake Worth consisted of updates to existing ammonia system on five high service pumps. The work included removal and replacement of High Service Pumps 3 and 4; (2 ea) 150-hp horizontal split-case pump, associated suction/discharge piping and valves; modifications to existing concrete equipment pads; replacement of VFDs inside an existing MCC; and installation of a main control check valves. Also included was the relocation of an existing RO cleaning skid; installation of an ammonia booster pump; installation of water softening equipment and associated process chemical piping; as well as touch-up painting, modifications to the electrical systems, and instrumentation and controls systems. |
