Scope: |
The RWPF Headworks Replacement project for the City of Marco Island consisted of the incorporation of a new headworks facility into the City's existing 3. MGD plant. The cast-in-place concrete headworks facility included an influent flow meter assembly, three (3) in-channel drum screens, sluice and weir gates, odor control system, diversion of influent and effluent piping from the old headworks to the new headworks, coatings, as well as, electrical and instrumentation and controls upgrades. Once the new headworks facility was fully operational, the existing headworks facility was demolished. The project also included multiple tie-ins, converting an existing empty pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank into an influent raw sewage storage tank with a blower, stainless steel air piping and fine-bubble diffusers. |
