North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Deep Injection Well Reservoir Pond Liner Replacement |
Value: |
$653,000.00 |
Scope: |
The North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (NRWWTP) Deep Injection Well (DIW) Reservoir Pond Liner Replacement project consists of the replacement of the existing fabriform liner including the demolition of the entire existing fabriform liner and replacing the liner using reinforced concrete with helical piles, as well as, installation of two (2) new access stairs equipped with hose bibs stations. Demolition also includes the existing chlorination building to include the foundation, railings, electrical and hose bibbs. The DIW reservoir serves as the water supply for the adjacent DIW pumps, which requires the installation of a temporary method of supplying water to the DIW to keep the plant in service during construction. Scope of work also includes a temporary portable pump to draw water from the adjacent secondary pond, bypassing the reservoir and the existing DIW pumps, and discharging into the flanged connection in the DIW pump discharger header, as well as, replacement of existing pipes and penetrations up to the first underground joint for various pipes and access structures that either penetrate or impede on the existing fabriform liner at the existing reservoir. |
