Scope: |
The Shell Creek Raw Water Pump Station Improvements project for the City of Punta Gorda consisted of the rehabilitation of the Shell Creek Raw Water Pump Station to include demolition and replacement of three (3) existing 100 hp raw water vertical turbine pumps with new vertical turbine pumps and 100 hp motors; demolition and replacement of existing pump discharge piping and valves; installation of new 20" raw water main and flow meter assembly; demolition and replacement of four (4) existing sluice gates; demolition of existing generator and provide new generator with built-in fuel tank; demolition of existing electrical equipment; installation of new VFDs, pump control panel, automatic transfer switch and other electrical equipment inside a new pre-fabricated electrical building; installation of new electrical conduit and wires; installation of new fiber optic line to water treatment plant; and replacement of existing electrical line for boat lift. Systems improvements also included new pre-fabricated electrical and instrumental building to house all new gear with HVAC unit; relocation of SCADA control panel and circuits; relocation of CCTV control panel and circuits; new fiber optic communications line to the water treatment plant control room; and HMI screens and control system integration. |
