The Big Cypress Water Treatment Plant Chemical System Improvements project for the Seminole Tribe of Florida consists of the necessary upgrades to remove total sulfide with new degasifiers and to improve pre and post RO chemical systems. Scope of work also includes Installation of new degasifiers, odor scrubbers, clearwell, and transfer pumps; new chemical systems provided to condition the water upstream and downstream of the RO and degasifiers systems. The pre-treatment chemical systems being modified or provided within this project are sulfuric acid and scale inhibitor. The post-treatment chemical systems are corrosion inhibitor, hydrofluorosilicic acid, sodium hypochlorite, calcium chloride, sodium hydroxide and sodium bicarbonate. The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing 400 kW diesel generator and automatic transfer switch. A new 450 kW stationary emergency standby diesel generator, day tank, automatic transfer switch will be installed along with associated electrical and control system modifications. The project also consists of improvements to the HVAC and building components and the furnishing of a 450 kW diesel towable generator. |
