Scope: |
The Miami Field Station and Miami South Tower IT Facility Building project consists of the replacement of two (2) existing communications equipment facility buildings; relocation of designated equipment from the existing equipment facility building; installation of a new power service; installation of new power, lighting, control and monitoring circuits; installation of a new site ground and new tower ground radials for both IT facility building locations. The scope of work more specifically includes the preparation of the site for the installation of a new, precast concrete microwave facility buildings (IT facility buildings) with generator room and underground liquid propane fuel tank system; installation of foundation for the new IT facility buildings; installation of the new precast concrete microwave facility building; installment of a new ground system matrix for the new facility buildings, existing tower, and existing fencing; installation of a new generator and underground fuel system; installation of a new cable waveguide/ice bridge from the IT facility buildings to the existing tower; installation of new electrical service connection to the new IT facility buildings from the existing FPL hand hole including coordination with FPL for meter requirements and service connection; installation of electrical service rack, isolation transformer and service disconnect; installation of new generator and engine exhaust system; installation of new air conditioning units; installation of all cable ways, conduits, and raceway accessories for conveyance of electrical and communication wiring; relocate equipment racks from the existing IT facility buildings to the new IT facility buildings; provide new outside plant (OSP) communications cable and conduits; installation of new access driveway; and demolition and removal of the existing "old" IT facility buildings. |
