Scope: |
The Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Advanced Water Treatment (AWT) Upgrade project for the City of Zephyrhills consists of the modifications to the existing Wastewater Treatment Facility. Work more specifically includes: Tertiary Filtration modifications: new filter influent wet well and pump station, new denite filter bypass pipe installed in the filter influent pump station wet well as an overflow, new electromagnetic flow meter to regulate the supplemental carbon feed, new filter influent weir and ultrasonic transducer for back regulation of supplemental carbon feed, new carbon source storage and feed system, new Parkson DynaSand denitrifying filter, decomission and demolition of the existing Parkson DynaSand filters and effluent pump station once new system is in place and operational; Oxidation Ditch #1: two (2) new dissolved oxygen (DO) probes, one (1) new oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) probe; Oxidation Ditches #2 & #3: DenitIR Oxidation Ditches 2 and 3, one (1) new DO probe for each ditch, one (1) new ORP probe for each ditch, two (2) new electric motor actuators to operate the existing flow control gate, new nitrogen-reduction process control system. |
